As soon as I read that comment ongloves I immediately thought about Alpha's post.

that post is the reason I ditched my last pair of textile gloves.

All leathers BABY.  THanks Alpha!
Not the brightest crayon in the box, but I can still be seen from a distance.  ;P

And, make sure they're not synthetic leather gloves; I had a pair wear out really quick from just normal usage.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

My Name Is Dave

I changed my oil on Wednesday. Afterwards I wanted to take it for a spin down my block and back around (side streets) for the hell of it. I was wearing khaki shorts, a long-sleeved t-shirt, running shoes, and I threw on the 3/4 helmet that I wear on the scooter when I ride it down the block and back as I'm fixing it. No gloves. That was the most uncomfy ride ever. I just felt out of my element. I was grabbing the brake and clutch, rather than smoothly easing them in and out.

It's weird how you can become so accustomed to riding in full gear that riding without it makes you feel like you've never even ridden before.

This reminds of a question that me and my friends asked each other (after drinking)

What would be the thing you would miss most if you lost the use of your hands?

I don't think my response would be appropriate here...

Hmm... Life.

'cause everything I enjoy in life has something to do with my hands.   :icon_mrgreen:  Playing bass, driving, riding, boobs...   :thumb:
