http://oneweb.utc.edu/~Edouard-Lambert

Let me know what you think.   By the way I used pics and the specs off this website, Hope it's not a big deal

Casimir

Arrrggghhh!!! My eyes!  :o

There is no need to point out that it is your first website, it's glaringly obvious.  :nana:

I am not one to talk, never building a website myself, but what the hell is that??  Are you trying to fail that class??

The way you did your links is uncomfortable because the pointer doesn't change.  I thought they were dead links until I tried clicking on them.

Not to be mean, but your layout is horrendous.

If you don't have photoshop, download Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/) and put a little time into making some real graphics.  MSPaint = NO.

ummm... I like the font...
but the layout and interface is not very functional

font.. what font.. that was done with a mouse and paintbrush and an unsteady hand.

I like the black / yellow combo.. but its going good otherwise.. move the menu to the left instead of right bottom.

everyone is responding to the graphics...love em or hate em you've chosen a very specific way to highlight things...

I agree-links should change when you pass over them-pr the pointer should. Dreamweaver program helps with this.

I wonder what it is exactly that you will be graded on?

Damn guys!!!  I was hoping to make it in the website design biz.....

Anyway, I wrote it like that for fun, so it looked like a 5 yr old kid wrote it..
It's actually everything we have to do to get an "A" on the assignment.
got the LINKS, PHOTOS, and THE CONCTACT

Well there are things i must fix, but these pages are disigned with microsoft word.  That's the only tools we're supposed to use...

Thanks for the encouragement......  I was hoping to take GSTWIN down with that website.....

JamesG

I like the "5 year old on blackboard" look. But it shouldn't look like a 5 year old wrote the page. :)

You should tighten up the links so that you don't have to scroll down so far.

UGgggg! I just looked at the source. Jeezzzz Its amazing how bloated MS can make a web page.
You really can't use anything but Word to do it in?  Yuck!

Oh well, not bad givin that.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

South East Rocket

Yeah, Joris...  I dig the stoppie and wheelie pictures.  I hope you don't care that I took them from your website.
Yeah, thanks for the feedback guys

Joris

Uhm, well, I don`t mind, but I would like it when you put a link to my site below it (maybe.......plz....) Thanks!

yeah, my duck head teacher told me the site had to look more professional.....
Anyway, it should all be finished by Tuesday, when the assignment is due.
By the way does anyone know how i can get one of those counters that tells you how many hits i get?

Casimir

Google for free counter and you'll find several to choose from.

A few suggestions:
1. Make your text smaller (especially the title), it will look better. Keep to default size for most text.
2. If you use a counter, put it out of the way, it's for your use, the person visiting couldn't care less (on any website).
3. If you continue to develop it, get a better editor, you'll get much better results than with Word.
4. Do a spell check, nothing detracts like bad grammar/spelling.
5. Don't leave links without destinations, better to remove the link completely.
6. Never put an "Under Construction" page. All active websites are under constant construction, leave the link off instead.
7. Change your title to say Website instead of WebsitE.

Post back here when you think it's done. I'll proofread it and I'm sure others will too.

Good luck!
