it's ok man.  I don't mind.  He rides a scooter.

Hey hey hey, easy there guys. No need to kick the float bowls out of my carbs. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to rub it in.

As for the weather, I'm now riding in the rain, so I only have like 2 months total a year that I can't ride. What's that? Oh, you can ride all year? shaZam!, you win.

And I HAVE a scooter, but I don't necessarily ride it. Between it trying to kill me and the fact that it's slow (and unregistered), she is more of a project than anything.

Ok, I think I cleared that up. 3imo, just move up here and your riding woes will all disappear...for 10 months a year.

I think it's cool too, after getting used to it. I hated scooters forever and gave roadstergal so much shaZam! about the Berger. The funny thing is that's like a Hummer compared to my Passport. It's a fun toy, but the GS is the queen of my machines.

I bought it from my brother for $50. I could easily make a good amount of profit if I put it on ebay right now. But I'm gonna keep it around.

Anyways, we're almost in the dry stretch here, so I'm gonna be taking some longer rides. I'll mount a video camera to my bike and send you a DVD of it. Put your bike in front of the TV, pop in the DVD, and make vroom noises and lean as you watch the video. It'll be fun, trust me.

144 from State College up to Renovo, PA is a sweet ride.  Very popular in these parts.

When I'm out for a short scoot, I'll shoot up to Bellefonte and take 144 over the mountain to Centre Hall and back.

I also really enjoy Skyline Drive in VA.  The southern half is some of the best riding I have ever had.  Way less traffic than the northern half.

We should get together for a ride sometime. also check out the NE meet:

I'll do what I can. I've wanted to build a camera mount anyways, so if I do finally make one I will make you a video. I will even edit it to just the best 30 minutes of the ride so you can hop on each morning before work and get your kicks!

You're welcome.

Hey AJ, Next time you take 446 in to Bloomington, take 45 out of Bloominton.  It takes you to 135 about 6 miles north of Nashville.  GREAT ROAD.  Take it slow the first time!

I like 446, 45 or 46 from Bloomington to Nashville, 135 North of Nashville, 44 and 252 East of Martinsville, and out West I like 42 West of Cloverdale, and 41 North of Terre Haute up around Turkey Run.

There are other roads I want to try.  There's a scenic route that follows the Ohio River in southern Indiana that I want to check out some weekend.  So many roads, so little time.
Something is wrong with my twin...all of a sudden it's V shaped!  Wait, no, now it's a triple!  ...and I IZ NOT a postwhore!

ajgs500

I think I have been on that one before.....  I went riding with a friend and her parents and they were from that area so they took us on some crazy backroads.  At one point I was so lost and soooo glad to see I-65!!!  LOL

Yankee Punker

Well its not to far from the end of my driveway to Front Beach Road here in Panama City Fl. Its about 7 miles down the beach road to Club La Vila. I  usally check out some eye candy and then head back home. Thats my little loop, and I thank God for the weather that  lets me do it every week of the year, actually its spring break and 67" outside what am I donig here, I've got to roll---wished you all were here
Being naked was great, but now that I'm older I thought I should cover up!!!!

Mods?  What mods, no really its stock!!

bargovic

I was at club la vila last year, and rode up and down that strip in panama. Def, a fun spring break. But I ate enough food at hooters that week for a life time

Egaeus

Hooters' food is awesome!  No, wait....

Front Beach Road is nice for the eye candy, but it's not much as far as the curves go.  I mean, I live 5 minutes from Florida State.  I can just ride through campus if I want to see hotties.  Not much fun to ride there though....

New rider here.  I'll have to check these out once I feel comfortable enough to leave my neighborhood.  Thanks!   :thumb:

Well, I live in Michigan in an area that is pretty much mapped out in sqaure miles.  So you can go straight all you want which is pretty fun.   :icon_rolleyes:

My favorite local ride is a road that goes along the Flint River.  It's a nice twisty road that is pretty fun.  The only problem is that they "chip sealed" it last year.  Thats where they dump tar on the road and them put loose stone on the top.  Eventually the traffic mashes the stone and tar into an actualy flat road again.  However until then things can get a bit squirrelly.

If anyone lives near highway 50 between Durango and Silverton Colorado, that's a great ride!
