I now have to push start my bike all the time... If a battery is bad and won't hold a charge, can you still ride the sht outta it?
My bike won't start on it's own anymore...but if i push start it it's all good...?!?
I'm just mainly curious as to what other problems could be there with these symtoms...

Probably a weak battery.  If it was completely dead, then your bike would run like crap.  If your generator was bad, it would eventually quit running. 

Batteries are cheap.  Buy a new one. 

weak battery or bad?? I had it on the black&decker charger all night, and then in the morning, it wouldn't start...headlight and indicator lights were all dimmed out...i then push start it and ride all day, having to push start it everytime i shut it off...I even had it on a charger with a check light to tell you if the battery is bad, and no light came on for mine...

Regardless I would buy another battery anyway.... if the bike doesnt start then you may have another problem you can start to isolate!!!!  Just make sure you charge the new batt!!!

i'm sorry, i've never bought a new battery for a bike before...charge a new battery?

Yes put it on your charger thinger over night.  Bike batteries are NOT like car batterires. 

I thought they have ones you fill with acid and go?

Sure they do..... but dont u want to be sure it is charged and working properly?

what if my black&decker charger is the one that messed up my battery in the first place...

well then buy a new one of those too while ur at it..... and how exactly would it mess it up that bad... especially if you rode the bike then the bike should have recharged it anyway

  i just feel it's hexed or something cause of my guages messing up...i'm still waiting on the new cluster on warrenty...

Is your Black & Decker charger a Regular car battery charger?
Does it have 10 amp and higher charge rates?
What is the lowest charge rate available with that charger?

it has a 2amp and a 1amp switch...it's made for both car and bike

  Just making sure you weren't burning it up.

Naberhaus here, from the east side. I(we) know that your bike went "down" two Sundays ago. I hate to ask an obvious question here, but, did you lose battery acid/water when the bike was laying  down? On a lot of m/c batteries, it is VERY difficult to see the level of electolyte in them. If the battery plates are not covered(with the proper level of electolyte), you'll loose MAJOR battery power, not to mention the battery will not be able to take and hold a charge. CHECK THE ELECTROLYTE LEVEL NOW! If it is low, add distilled water up to the proper level and put on a 1-2 amp/hr charge overnight. Call us in the morning. If the battery is not ruined, it should take the charge.

I'm guessing the battery had a bad cell of something...i just went to cyclespecialties and got a new one for 30 bucks ready to go...
There were no fluids lost when my bike went down...but i did fill the battery and charge it...it worked fine for about two starts, and then crapped...So far the new battery is all good!
