Thanks kids!!!!      I am out of the hospital they released me pretty much right away after the X-rays were cleared.  I have bruises all over the right leg knee and below to the calf and that area is pretty swollen.  My right elbow is also pretty bruised and I am really sore all over.  In a few minutes I will go out and take some better non-cell pics when the drugs wear off a little bit more.

And it is very possible that the dog was a stray, the neighborhood I was driving thru at that moment was slightly sketchy!!!

Those damn dogs will do that.  You think they are going to wait for you to pass, and zoom!   Right under your tire.  I killed a neighbor's dog like that in my truck. 

Glad that you're more or less intact.  Kudos on wearing the gear.  Bruises heal better than rash.
