Those gloves look like they dont cover the wrists very far. for the price you could have gotten alpinstar sp-1 gloves (probably at newenough.com, where I got them) and had longer gloves.

OH YES, good leather gloves are the shaZam!! crash tested-not a scratch or compromised stitch on either gloves or a-stars jacket.

I've only ever heard good things about the Tourmaster Magnum jacket. Pretty decent price for a leather jacket and the reviews I've read said it's a good, thick leather. Don't have any personal experience, but it's one I'm considering. I do have a TM textile jacket that I just got recently that I really like.

Well, they are one of the few companies that make women-specific gear. I'd trust Alpinestars stuff more though.

Indeed you are right. That was one of my concerns but I went ahead and bought them anyways. You made me change my mind. So today I went back and exchanged them for Dainese Firestarter gloves.

I have an icon jacket too.... obviously they make it cause people buy it...if no one wanted those jackets then they woudln't make them and honestly i woudl rather wear a bright blue or red or pink jacket at least its better then black!!!
i have the white and baby blue kitty jacket.... at least it fits and has boob room unlike alpinstars and joe rocket!!! 

i have a Shift textile jacket i paid 200 for .. i love it . its great .. i was gonna buy an icon but none of them had the inter vest  so on them cold days i could still weare it .. every compay makes stuff there gonna sale ... i like the bling on the icon but i'm not willing to pay that much for some gloves.. at least you know .. if you go down that them gloves should hold up ... not as well as a kevilar glove but
