Two days ago i was on my way to advenceauto parts in my home town (mount vernon, ohio) when i saw a gs500 at the light i was turning at, as i made the left turn onto the street the other gs was on i made sure i snuck off as enthusiastic a wave as i could, he happened to be going to the same place i was, so i made sure i mentioned gstwin.com to him, told him to check out the forum ect. if i recall correctly he had a 1990.

Then on my way back to toledo with my bike inside my van i stopped at a rest stop near bolwing green and what did i see? a red pickup with a 1989 gs 500 in the back, i stopped to chat. the couple who owned the truck were standing nearby, the bike was a starter bike for their son, it looked to be in pretty good shape, i complimented them on their choice of bike and showed them my gs500. and suggested they check out the forum.

don't know if they will ever see this particular post, but i hope they at least find the forum.

The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body. It is that simple: If you ride fast and crash, you are a bad rider. And if you are a bad rider, you should not ride motorcycles.
