is it possible to adjust the stock gs500e suspension or do i have to get one off of another bike like a gsx750r or somthing?

you can adjust the rear suspension for preload only.

pantablo

no adjsutment in front from factory-you could install a fork spacer or progressive springs.

rear has preload adjustment only and usually this is still insufficient.

not entirely true about the front forks.

You can "adjust" the forks. It just requires pulling them apart to change springs, spring preload, fork oil level viscoity & level, damping rod comp & rebound hole diameter and location....

blah blah blah  I just can't shut up tonight.... WTF?
