I was stopped to adjust my gear today, when someone came to talk to me about my bike.  Which I thought was cool, being new to the whole motorcycle thing, it's nice to have outsiders recognize how unpeakably cool I am.  But, lo, Mr. Pedestrian was a biker, too.  Turn out he'd recently bought... a Suzuki Ninja 1200.  Nice.  I told him sounds cool, and was on my way. 

Secretly, thought, I was burning up with jealously.  I can't wait to upgrade from my 500.  Gonna buy me one of those sweet Suzuki Ninja 1200s.

hahaha...I wonder what he was actually talking about...if anything at all. I think you got your first taste of a bystander being jealous enough to lie to you about riding, to be as cool as you....LOL...

I'm confused.

Hmm... Was, it looks like.  No such thing anymore, though, according to Kawasaki.com.  Guess he bought it used. 

kawi zx12r is still made, possibly last year was last year or production. suzuki has the bandit 1200 (not a true sportbike IMO) and the gsx1300r (hayabusa).

Don't forget the ZRX1200R, the Big Green thing. Eddy Lawson replica superbike thing. Yeah. That big gigantic 80s green thing.
