Edit:  I read your other post.  I'd be willing to problem solve, but no guarantees.

Edit #2:  Have you tightened the mixture screws until misfire and then loosened until it hits?  Just leaving them both @2.5 turns out really means nothing.

Until it seals. If you screw it in it will stop when it reaches its maximum closure.

I think he means 'hit' as in 'not misfiring.'  If he meant it in the 'seal' sense, wouldn't he have said "tighten it until it hits"?

Well, the opposite of a misfire is a hit; i.e. combustion.  The mixture screws should always be played with after a rejet/rebuild of a carb.  Even if a kit instructs you to turn out 3 times (dynojet) you still might have to tweak them to get it right.  Also, from the sound of things, are you sure you changed the correct jets?  Did you follow a kit or a manual or...?    Did you have to drill out the plug that seals the mixture screws?  And you did not mention the throttle (idle stop) adjustment.  These all work in concert.  I'll try to mess with mine tomorrow to see if I can work on explaining things in words or send you some pics.

I'm a bit confused:  You don't have a choke cable?  Below is a pic of an open bowl.  I assume you fitted the pilots in the correct locations.  When the carbs were redone did you test the diaphragms + needles to see if they returned after pushed up?  If not, pull them off and re-check all of your carb work.  Unscrew the jets you installed and make sure everything is clear (all holes blown with air, compressed if possible).  When all this is done then move on. 



Try this:    Turn the bike on and start it.  If it will run until warm let it.  Turn off.  Pull the spark plugs out and clean them. Reinstall.  Restart bike.  Turn one mixture screw in until it seats.  Back it out until you get a steady fire.  Repeat for the other side.  Now adjust your idle knob.  Now check plugs.  Remember that white means lean and black means rich.  What happened?
