1400 for a 93' and read his description of it.   I don't know if it proves my point or not, but a bike will sell for what it will sell for.

If he wants to pay 2200 then its on him.  I wonder if in his area he won't find another bike for cheaper.

It's not a good deal.  But sometimes you just don't care, you just want to ride.  I bought a '96 with 6,300 miles for $2,000 two years ago - not a good deal either.  It had some cosmetic blemishes but seemed great mechanically.  I bought it one day before my MSF course, and don't regret it at all.  It was the only 500cc beginner bike in my area available for several months.

Hi there,
I think it's too much money for this bike, too.
I never buy a bike that's been painted, because you never know what damage it covers, as others here have said.
Also, while someone did work on the bike, unless you did it yourself and know the quality of work you do, you really don't know if the work was done properly and with factory parts, etc.
I'm a stickler for the work I do on my bike, and I'd rather not have to fix someone else's mistakes later.
If you are still interested in this bike, ask to see all the parts receipts and look the bike over very carefully, as Cal Amari described above.
What is that new paint hiding?
The price tag must be below $1,600 or so for you to seriously consider this bike, and I hope you are very careful.
Best wishes and let us know what you do.
Yours,

You are welcome and thanks for looking at it!

That is just a data page updated about every other week. Just wait until you see what I'm cooking on the back burner.

I may call the page "G-bay".

I agree with most that it seems a bit high. I bought my '99 last year for $1300 with 12,000 miles. You could probably find a better deal, but then that depends how much you want to look or wait.
