He did as told...he didn't hit the parked car. Doh!

You're kidding right???  AHHHHHHH I AM DYING!  THAT is the most hilarious thing I have ever seen!

My mate did that to one of my scooters.... must be something about having to use the throttle with your hand?  He said that he got a shock at how fast he took off, could not regain his balance to brake or steer etc and crashed into his garage.  :o

Funny stuff... but can be very dangerous -

not to be mean, but ah hahahahaha.  that was seriously funny.  i never would have thought that even possible.  i saw him going towards the curb and just figured it would end there, but no, he went the extra mile (or 10 yards as it were).

I watched in horror as my little sister did the SAME thing to my XR75 when she was about 10.

She was OK, the bike was OK, and we got to break her stones about it for months. It was worth it as I look back on it. She NEVER asked to ride it again  ;) . She just froze and put it into a big pear tree.

That video is too funny.

Good God- how did he do that?  He was going pretty slow!  HAHAHA- idiot!   :?

I reckon he would have found it easier if the throttle action was to slide the hand along the bar rather than twisting the grip.  It seems that would be an action more familiar to him.  :thumb:

That is a Pontiac Aztek (or AssTek) as it's lovingly know as here in the States. No offense to owners on the board  :thumb:

It was first pushed as a prize to the winner of the first Survivor on the television show of the same name a few years ago. The rear looks like an old Honda Civic with an endocrine problem.

I know, I know....it's very functional. The designers committed suicide shortly after the model was handed over to Homer Simpson for tweaks.  ;)

That was how I had my fist get off. I was upright for about 5 seconds. :thumb:
In my defense I was on a big old 70's Honda 750 with a giant Winjammer fairing on a dirt road. I was looking at the tree 40 yards ahead and just kept heading straight for it. I kept sqeezing the cluth expecting it be my brake.  I didn't hit the tree instead I low sidded breaking the 2 turn signals. After that I had to buy my own bike to learn on because friends didn't trust me after that.
That is my rule today. If you want to learn to ride, do not ask to borrow my bike.
