so, I was at the shop today, picking up a filter and some oil...over priced oil at that.


And this older guy, maybe later 50's, comes in and is talking to the service rep while he's looking up my parts, and I over hear him say "well, I could give a shaZam! about power, I want something louder, and something that has more shine to it".  What killed me is that he's riding a 05 GSXR 1000, and its parked outside with yellow headlight covers, and a yellow windscreen, with a yellow seat, on an all black bike. 


Sorry, made me chuckle, because I usually only think of people doing stupid shaZam! to their bike as young and immature

Sounds like he needs a harley... with lotsa chrome and straight pipes

Anyway, don't judge all of my age group by him. My '89 GS is totally stock , I wear a helmet and light armor. And I like to "run silent, run swift"
