hey all. . .was going to post a pic of my GF. . . but dont have a clue how to get images on here. . .i pressed the insert image button and 2 things came up. . . but how do i get the picture to show?

you need to host your images on a 3rd party webhost.  Most people find www.photobucket.com satisfactory.  upload the photos there and hotlink them using the image tags.  place the URL for the image in between those funky tags.  what you type in the post will look like this..

[img]http://www.photobucket.com/andwr/myuglygf.jpg[/img]

it will then appear as this
