I was riding to work today and drove past the "famous" bollwevil monument here in Enterprise AL.  I thought it'd be cool to start a thread of the GS500 parked in front of various Landmarks around the world.

I hate to start a picture thread without a pic but I will post one of the monument and modify this post.

I am sure there are plenty of you out there that live near something famous. upload your pics to the photogallery and post a link to it here.

Great idea!!! We'll try to get a landmark pic over the next week or so!

Here's my bike with one of the dinosaurs in Cabazon (just west of Palm Springs).

Hell yeah, those dinosaurs are in PEE WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE.

A great American Classic.

I think this is a great Idea, perhaps John could make it a sticky. It will give us all a feel for the other members localities and trips.

Turd, you need to go get a GS next to the World's Largest Ball of Twine about 2 hours east of Manhattan in Cawker City.

How about my GS in front of Tim Horton's     Canadian landmark, eh?   (This particular Tim's is in Fergus, Ontario)
