Hey does anyone have a thin measure shim i can "rent" from them? I really need it for this weekend.

I ordered one from an online source and accidentally messed up the address so i have to wait for it to get returned to them and them to send it back out to me. The problem is if i don't have one this weekend I won't have time to swap them and try to get the bike running for about three weeks, and i realy can't wait.

If anyone has one they will loan me i will happy paypal you a deposit for the return of the shim and a few dollars for your time and effort if you would drop it in the mail asap.

PM me and let me know, I really want to get the ol' girl on the road before i get too busy and then have to go out of town.

How about a link to what you bought?  I don't exactly understand what you are asking for.  Shims come in about 300 sizes.

I just ordered up a 2.30 shim so i can get a measurement of how tight my valves are (and they are TIGHT) so that i can order new ones. Hopefully in time for me to put them in next weekend and get the bike going before I go out of town for two weeks and them come back and jump right in to 6 hours a day of summer classes.

I just need to borrow a really thin shim (like the 2.15 kerry uses in the video) so i can measure and find out which ones i need to order. The only problem is if i order one from anywhere it will take at least 5 days to get it whereas if some one from here woulld just drop one in an envelope to me i could have it by this weekend, get my measurement and then have it back out to them on monday.

I have a 215.  You're welcome to borrow it for the cost of shipping if you want it any faster than first class mail.

Holy Crap!!!! I've been monitoring the posts i made about this on both motorcycle forums I 'm a member of all day and within 5 minutes suddenly I have two people offer to help me out. I think i just got this covered, the owner of a local bike shop offered to let me borrow one from him for the weekend to do the deed. I'm going to call him tomorrow about it just to make sure he has what i need. I really really appreciate the offer and if he doesn't have one, i'll PM you tomorrow.
