Does anyone have any good photos that demonostrate both POOR and PROPER body positions for cornering techniques? If so, post up! 

I don't have it.. but for poor, how bout the one of Alpha right before he sneezed and wrecked? .. Sorry Alpha, couldn't resist.

Knee dragging through that turn, I sneezed and lowsided.

i could have gotten my ass off the seat and put a knee down, thus go faster with more lean.....

Looks like your toe would touch before your knee 

well, rotating the knee outward causes the toes to move in.

in the other picture, alpha's knee is down but his peg isn't even close, he's just hangin off mass...rangerbrown is in fulltilt, if he put a knee down and hung off more, he could maybe possibly go further, but not much.

I was also on a slightly banked turn, which gives a bit more cornering clearance.

as an expert roadracer let me tell ya'll this every pound you put on your knee on the ground takes 5 pounds off the tires ,you hang off to move weight and keep the bike stood up on the meat of the tire when your kneepuck touches you pick it up slightly to avoid levering the bike off the ground trust me on this they teach it in any reputable race school,watch the pros the puck barely hits

Here Duhamel is dragging his toe and his knee.  He's probably rolling on the gas just as the photo was taken. 

As for putting too much pressure on the knee, it can definitely lever the bike off the ground.  It happened to me at a track day at Streets of Willow when I kept leaning it over more and more, testing the limit - which I eventually found.  Probably one of the few ways to lowside in a banked turn.
