YO!!!  I need some help...  And I'll bribe you for it...  2 FREEEEEEE stickers mailed (by me) to your address for helping.

They look like the first two stickers on this page:  http://www.eviltwinrocks.com/etstickers.htm
When (if) I FINALLY get them from the printer, I will mail them to your address... IF you help me out.

So...  Here's what I'm asking...

Check out my band's music and tell us what you think about each song...  Sounds involved huh?  Well, I made it easy by making a survey.  YAY!

--> The survey is here:  Evil Twin Survey

The directions on how to get to the music are in the survey, but I'll put them here too...  There are two ways to hear the music...
- To Stream the tracks: Go to www.eviltwinrocks.com and click the Audio Link on the left...
- To Download the tracks: Go to our Downloads Page and download the MP3s.

We'd love your help...  And don't forget the stickers!!!   :icon_mrgreen:

Once you're done, just PM me to ask me to pay up...  and send me your address.  Hopefully I'll have the stickers really soon (since the print shop was supposed to have them to me last week), but I will send them as soon as I have them.

Yeah, we've heard a few people say that...  I think we need to get him to sing in his normal voice, rather than "The Voice."  But, I also know about 45 people that hate Rush, Jane's Addiction, The Violent Femmes, etc. etc. 'cause "The singer sucks." :dunno_white:

Thanks for checking it out. :thumb:

I realize this survey thing was a long time ago, but I am just getting around to listening to the tracks.

I am impressed  :thumb: I actually think the singer is pretty good for the songs he is singing, and for the style of music. This music is what I consider American bar band kind of rock. Some people's ears are not really "tuned" for it, I don't think. It lacks the "finished" sound that most bands have. But for a rock band that is playing in a bar / club, this stuff is great.

BTW, "13" is a nice change of pace. Some of the other stuff makes me think Jet, Slash's Snakepit, etc.

Catchy melodies (where applicable!), good guitar and bass lines, and the drummer is good too. Most of the lyrics don't make me think "deep and introspective", but more of the stuff that would be great bar atmosphere music.

I downloaded the all the tracks and made a CD to pop in my car. I'll give it a few more listens. I've been needing something fresh to listen to. Not the same crap that is all over the radio. I hope you don't mind  :icon_razz: You can always pull a Metallica and sue me.. haha.

Sounds good, tho. Three cheers for Evil Twin  :thumb:

I give your band a  :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: These songs sound pretty damn good. Kinda reminds me of some ramones and one of the intros sound like stevey ray vaughn....Overall I like it  :thumb:

Phaedrus

Ya, Ramones!  :thumb: I thought I even heard some slight Op Ivy influences, too.

Definately a bar sound to it, not a studio.   The singer could stay or go.  The drummer & guitarist are good.. like the beats.  Not my type of music, but I'd shut up and listen in a bar.

I'd plunk down some coins for some studio time & get a sound engineer to polish it up, see what comes out.

RVertigo

Wow! :o  Back from the dead...

Thanks for checking 'em out guys!  Since we only ever play in bars, it's good we have a good bar sound.   (Best when drunk! )

Yeah...   We're hitting up a better studio with an actual engineer and an actual producer next month.   :thumb:  Hopefully we'll sound less like we recorded it in some mullet wearing dude's garage in the ghetto (which is where we recorded it).
