In another post according to Srinath: 37.5 bleeder = 40 non-bleeder jet. Can anyone comfirm this? I could easily get a hold of some of the bleeder type jets and frankly I would rather not wait on ordering the nonbleeder type.
New to motorcycles.... old fart with Turbo Hondas. :)

hmmmnz

im guessing that you have a us bike?
so you should have a 37.7 pilot jets in there already, if you are rejetting go up to the 40 which is standard for the rest of the world.
i hope your are redoing your pilots as well :)
the 40s are bleeders. i dont know anything about non bleeders, go to 40s you shouldn't have ay problems at all,
pod filters, costum r6 quill exhaust(no baffles)40/140 jets, heavy duty springs, sv650 rear shock, gsxr srad tail, bandit 600 4.5 inch rim with 150 tyre, gsx twin disc front end "1995 pocket rocket"  ridden by a kiwi in scotland

If you're goign up to the 40 pilots, get NON-bleeder types. If you get bleeder ones it'll be too rich and your bike won't run AMHIK.

As fas as whether or not the 37.5 bleeder types are equivalent........ :dunno_white:

It is my opinion that the 37.5 bleeder types are too rich, as I had installed these when I got my GS; the cloud of unburnt gas filling my garage and stinging my eyes was enough to convince me.  I am also of the opinion that if you set the float levels way low that the 37.5 bleeders will work, since Srinath said they did.

Do you recommend setting the float levels a little low for non bleeder 40's? Or should it just be level with the gasket like normal?
