Looks awesome.  How was the fit/finish?  Let us know how it performs.

Alphamazing

Eh. The can is too small and too low, IMO. Looks like the V&H, which also has a tiny can. Bu the performance is where it'll be at, hopefully.

Wow! What a night. What a last couple of days. I will try to make a long story short if I can. I had my carbs off about 6 times since I bought the DynoJet kit. For some odd reason while riding the other day my bike got way too rich while idleing. I took the DJ kit out put the stock pilots and needles (shimmed .5mm) each back in. I put the DJ128 mains in place of the 132's. They should be some where between a 132.5 and 135 mikuni. Today I get to try out the exhaust and it runs good for about 5 minutes and then right back to sputtering and not wanting to idle. I buy the clear gas tube to check my float levels and the right side is WAY TOO high. So it's nice to finally figure out what the problem is,but I have no idea how to fix it. I take the carbs back out remove the float and needle assembly, all looks good, spray it with carb cleaner and try to tweak the float and get it to measure the same as the other one. This was just a pure shot in the dark. So I test the float level on the work bench and vola!!!  Right on the money. Put it all back together and go for a good test ride.  This thing feels like a new bike!! Pulls so much harder than before and the roll on acceleration, well there actually is roll on acceleration now!! I know I probably left a little on the table by guessing at my jet set up, but I am more than happy with it for now. I will try to get it dyno'd next friday or saturday. As for the exhaust, I am very pleased with it. $494 is too much money for any exhaust in my opinion, but that is reasonable for a full system now a days. The fit and finish are first class, but I did have to spring the header pipe about 1/4 inch to have clearance for my drain plug. It just looks so much better than stock that it is unreal. The sound is, hmmmm, different. It is not much loader than stock at idle. And as the revs go up it gives off a pleasant tone, that almost sounds exotic if that makes any sense. Just off idle it reminds me of the 250 motocross bikes with that sort of quick reving thumper sound. The end cap can be easily removed for a basically straight through design, but I can't imagine it being a pleasant sound. I just don't think parallel twins sound good if they're too open. Ok, sorry for the long post.    Jason

Looks good, I think. But work on getting some sound clips! Just about every digital camera these days have sound clip capabilities with the video! Let's hear it! :thumb:
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

Hell,

I'd put a 500.00 exhaust on a 200.00 bike if it gave me the JOLLIES.  But that's just me :icon_lol:

Good luck with the new exhaust.  Make sure you post pics!!!

Give a man a fish, and you have fed him for a day.  Teach a man to fish, and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

I know a hooker that'll give you "jollies" for WAY less than 500 bucks.  WAY less bro.

Recording it is not the problem. How do I post the recodings??? I took the "reducer" out of the back. It is just held in by one rivet and it basically reduces the outlet from 2-1/2 to 1 inch. The sound is sweeeeeet. Nice deep rumble at idle and under hard excel........Ohhhhh Baby I love this thing.  O0 :thumb:
