ashman, 3imo, thatguy1025 - Which way will you go up?
I usually go from cullman to gadsden - to rome, ga - to blue ridge, ga - to robbinsville, nc - then deals gap.
I might catch up with you if it is somewhere along these lines.

Not sure wether I'll be truckin' it through Dallas to AK through Tennesee and into NC or from Austin through LA, MI, AL, GA, into NC.

We might even go both ways, one there, one back.

I'm not quite sure yet. I'm thinking I'll take I65 to Montgomery then I-85 around Atlanta. Not too sure after that.

I suggest not going through alaska.  Of course, that's just me.

If you go through atlanta, one suggestion I have is to go 19/400 due north heading toward alpharetta/dahlonega - this becomes hwy 129 which is the same 129 as the dragon and just follow it straight up via some really nice twisties.

I might be in danger of not makin it. I've got a few issues.

the bike isnt registered ( i rode to cocoa beach last week 1000mi+ on the tags for my 99' on the 01' i just rebuilt)

I will be on a business trip to Savanah, GA until the 8th. 
and I am in the process of selling my house in Atlanta.

none of which are deal breakers but come close.

I will try to be there though.

and i will be bring a buddy with a   triumph triple 3 that bike is sweet.

What year/type is yours?  Mine is an '03 RR.

I'm starting to think the GS is more of a mentality  than an actual bike...I really haven't had the urge to post on CBRworld.net like I have on here

i just swaped the tags from the gs to the cbr today and had it on the road for the first time. what a wonderful bike.

Alright, it looks like I won't be able to show up for this meet. I need to take a summer school course and it is only offered June 1 to July 6, no other options. I need this class too, otherwise I'd just do it later.

This friggen' sucks.

right now i am up in the air with this, the cbr may be sold and then i will need to get the gs road ready again. soooo.... heres the deal i was thinking move the date to july 21-24 fri-mon so i will reset the poll and lest vote again.

i know this will put some in a spot, but doing the math, i can't i just started a job. but late july would give me the time i need.

but i guess we could hit it up in two groups. what do you all think?

I think June 9-11 is pretty much set in stone for some since it's less than 2 weeks away and they've made arrangements.  However, I'm sure that those who can't make it this time would welcome another chance.

Well then - looks like I'll go this weekend  (since already packed),
June 9-11 unless nobody else goes  and July 21-24  .

I've made plans for june 9-11 for a month or so now, so its set in stone for me. I hope i'm not the only one going now?

well, its a great bike, but 120 miles per tank and has to have prem (runs like crap with reg and mid) too the gs's 230 havent even hit the reserve and take regular soo.

but the gs handles just fine, its just a little slower. the front tire could stand to be a litle better as the gap has worn my stocker out on the sides. if i go this will be the last time the front tire will be there.

i need to do this list on the gs

check valves 12000 miles (NEVER DONE)
oil change
chain reajusted (mabe replaced)
wash wax
check/replace CCT


yea like that said, above it suck that some cant make it the first trip but things happen.
