changed a few things over the winter and pretty much done tinkering for this season (that's what I tell myself anyway :icon_rolleyes:).  just want to spend most of my time riding now.  had a chance to snap some pics this morning, so here she is...

Wow!  Nice!  Beautiful pictures!  Well executed photography!
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof, is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools....

Thanks to advances in automation, Nike shoes will be made by robots. Unfortunately, the robots will be made by children in Malaysia.

A bunch of nice Imprezas in your other pics.  I used to have an STi myself.

Looks good, man. i love the dual headlights.
Don't sweat the petty things...and don't pet the sweaty things.

Nice!   Hey, are those new fork seals and dust covers?
On those days when life is a little too much and nothing seems to be going right, I pause for a moment to ponder the wise last words of my grandfather:  "I wonder where the mother bear is?"

WREX

thanks guys.

aworkmon - the Subaru world is another another community i've been a part of.  runnnig a ver.7 wagon.

caffeine - they're working just fine (that's them in the pics).  thanks!

thanks

pantablo - like most things with the gs, it's a one off.  I can't take the credit however.  my brother-in-law in a CNN machinist for a large automation tooling company.  we talked about fabbing something simple up, so originally all he did was take the 2D measurements of the original brace.  we then got into talking material and shapes, and I sent him a few examples others had made, of what was posted here.  he came up with an AutoCAD image (which I still have) and made it happen from there, finalizing everything with an anodized finish.  Even with the resources at his disposal, it was surprisingly involving work.  In the end, it’s a real nice piece and am thankful to him for putting it together for me.

Something is wrong with my twin...all of a sudden it's V shaped!  Wait, no, now it's a triple!  ...and I IZ NOT a postwhore!

WildBlue

That looks sweet man.   :thumb:  What kind of headlights are those?

I like it...  I see it's a lot thicker than the wimpy stock one...  Can you really feel the difference.

Any plans of making a couple more?

wildblue - www.streetfighterstore.com; made and work well, affordable compared to other stuff out there.

rvertigo - front end feels tighter (but changed the fork oil levels a bit at the same time, so hard to concretely tell which one caused it more); sorry no plans to make more (was a personal favour and wouldn’t be worth the time to start making to sell for him).  there are other options though, search around here, and you might find one for sale, pop up sometime.

average – www.arrowexhausts.com for global, or http://www.arrow.it/usa/prodotti for US products.  They make higher end, hand made Italian stuff (mostly for Ducatis).  I would have never bought it new from them, for the GS, but ebay is a wonderful thing sometimes...   :thumb:  i use the net way too much to want to take it off.  fairings are cuffed a bit, but such is the trade off and doesn't really bother me as it's always covered anyway.

Where did you pick up those turn signals?
And how difficult were they to install?
They look like they're LEDs?
