I would be going with you guys but our company picnic (I am master of ceremonies) for about 700 people is June 10th.  Be sure to post pics when you get back.  I'm planing to go sometime this year, but would have rather gone with some guys from the board.  Ya'll have fun and be safe

I thought it was one or the other, didn't know ya'll were going both dates.  cool, i'll keep checking back.  Get the scoop on the campgrounds cause I'd rather camp too.  (although its gonna be hot in July)

Well the "y'all" part is relative. A few are going now, a few later. This wasn't a very organized gathering. I'm going to be mainly sticking with the FZ1 crowd probably. Show them literbikers they should invest in some skilllz.

I'm not gonna be trying to keep up with anyone. I'll be riding my own ride. If I feel like going fast, I will. If I feel like enjoying the ride, I will. If it rains, I'll ride like a granny.

i know one thing, last time i was there i was going a lot slower, and i don't plan on getting crazy like i did my every first time, (i wrecked). but the big thing now is the cops are up there with heilo's getting speeders.

on the last trip i only got crazy late in the day or early in the morning when no one was riding. and the one time when my buddy went down. poor guy had

4 fractured ribs
possible punctured lung (got harder and harder to breath)
bruised kidney
minor concussion
and totaled gsxr 1000.

though he saw his other buddy, picked up speed and while trying to look see if it was them lost track of how fast the Conner was coming up, and it was too late.


by all means ride at your own pace, but theres nothing like a healthy ride if the two or more can stick together for a good vid. which i would like to make, i get the lead and you behind and then swap the mounts (grab bar) and then you tape me.

you know, i am getting really sick and damn tired of trying to sell this bike.

last two weeks all this guy says is, want that bike, i want that bike. and then last friday we go to the bank. he get the loan for the bike. so now he has the money. I'm like ok i will give you the bike and bring the title on weds at work, but he wanted to wait till weds, ok no problem, that way i can bring it on the trailer and drive the truck ect... so long story we then decided that friday would be better to do it all as we got off late on wed, from work (after 5). now its thurs night, in the past week i have had 3 calls on the bike. and i told them all that the bike was sold, and to please call back in-case it wasn't (which i hope they do now). he calls me after all this and says that his buddy found him a bike for 1100$. well f%$k you ass hole.

days i spent thinking that this was a for sure thing, road the f%$king bike to and from work twice on my trailer only to have to bring it home. thats money in gas i didn't have to spend. and a lost possible sale. 


I'm so pissed right now it is beyond the point of any thing i have ever experienced.

i may just kill this guy.  i will be getting gas money out of this fucker at least.

Alright, I'm f%$king excited. I just got some brand new Dunlop D208s for $142.60 total. I am missing a rotor for my Kat wheel though, but if I get that I'll have nice sticky rubber for the Gap. f%$king awesome.

I just put some fresh rubber on up front yesterday.  Plus I just ordered some saddle bags and gloves from newenough.com ,I too am excited.

i am going to have to make do with the bt-45 front and maxxis promaxx m6103 rear till i get the nex set.

the rear did great last trip but the front bt-45 i could really feel being pushed in the turns. i may try some diffrent tire pressure and see what happens.

Looks like the second trip for me.  Damn girls!

i will have my truck packed tomorrow, but i have a problem with the gs. it seems that the rear tire will need a patch, wheeler said he could fix it for 10$ so friday morning i will fill it and ride it over there.

Yeah, it does suck, but she got all pouty on me when I mentioned that I wanted to leave town this weekend. 

well she had better pass that test.

I'm in Georgia! I'm heading over to dgyver's place tonight to get my brake torque arm bent so I can do the Kat wheel swap, quick scrub in, then driving to the Gap on Thursday.

i will be there thurs around 5-6:30 pm i think, i get off at 1:30 thurs so this should be pleanty of time

i will have the blue ford ranger with the yellow gs in the back

Well hopefully I get to meet up with ashman tomorow, if not I'll be going alone and in the blind, just keep an eye out for me ill be in a black gs with a blue backpack straped to the back.

So ill be looking out for ranger brown at 129/28 even though i dont know where that is. Is there anyone else i should be looking for?
