And lastly, aim for birds.  After you get one at 70 or 80 mph you'll be alert and ready and looking for the bastards all the time...

I almost hit one last week...  Don't they have any common sense???  I hit one with my '95 Blazer two years ago...  I was going about 55-60 mph, and out of the corner of my eye, I see the bird fly right across my path.  I hear this thud and then I SEE the bird bounce off my car.  I look in my rear view mirror to see the bird land on the median.  When I got back to work, I took a look and saw a broken headlight.

THAT BIRD'S GONNA PAY!!!

I nearly took out a meadow lark last week...or I should say he nearly took me out (14~16oz bird at 80mph...damn).  I ducked just in time and tucked behind my shield...he went RIGHT over me.  I turned around and flipped him off...some little old lady behind me thoughtI was flipping her off and she returned it...

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof, is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools....

Thanks to advances in automation, Nike shoes will be made by robots. Unfortunately, the robots will be made by children in Malaysia.

Wasp in your helmet.  :icon_razz:

Pandy, do you have a story to go with this "suggestion?"

I brake for bezier curves.

Ok, let's bypass the wasp. (One of my buds had one fly into his jacket, very very bad.) First, seriously sleep is crucial. Some people need more than 8 hours. Allow yourself more sleep. Period, make room in your schedule, or you'll run yourself into the ground.

Barring a change in sleep patterns try LESS coffee. Seriously, you will be more awake. Or try sitting for about 15 mins or a little longer if possible, just chilling with your eyes closed. Then when you get going you'll have a little more fuel.

Seriously though, that's your body telling you that you are asking more of it than it can handle.
Rich, RIP.

I've been holding back as it was going to be a useless post but I have to post it now.

Can you imagine overtaking a bike, where you look at the rider and see that they are sleeping.

I've been having visions of this for a while now, cracks me up.  :icon_mrgreen:

It's possible, though! My stepson fell asleep on his Gixxer 1K! ???

Fortunately, he woke up!  :cookoo:
