This morning I stopped behind a car at a stoplight.  A woman on a Harley pulled up into the lane next to me.  I flipped up my face shield and said hello.  She says: "Don't you know girls aren't supossed to ride motorcycles?!?"   

I laughed.  S w e e t.

I just finished signing up my aunt, my mom's best friend, and my cousin for their msf classes. My aunt is 4'11" so my uncle shaved the seat on a 305 dream for her. She's a 50 year old noob  Doesn't matter though it always makes me happy to see other women on bikes

<-- NOT a lesbian.  I ride to work at least 1 day a week, rain or shine, and more days when I can (did 4 this week).  I ride every weekend, sometimes to the mountains, sometimes just to go shop (keeps me from buying too much--can't haul it home).  Oh yeah, and my husband dosen't ride.  Yet.

I know alot of women that ride that are straight and don't have bfs/don't follow their bfs around. Its becoming more socially acceptable for women to ride, and its becoming easier for women to ride. MSF courses, education and employment increase, and better gear make it much easier for women to get bikes and ride them on thier own. We have straight girls that ride here, SunfireSarah, Jen, Pandy, RG(she still rides even though shes not posting here), the list goes way on.

For all the womenz Two Wheel Females Webboard just for us. Kinda quiet as of yet but its getting there.

I know a lot of women who are smoother riders than I am (and faster*).

I know three women that ride regularly...  One is a lezzy...  One is RG...  And the other I work with...  She doesn't ride in the rain very often.

I thought RG was half and half?  But Pandy you can be an honorary member of Dykes on Bikes but, honestly, those women scare me.

I didn't forget about you I just didn't want to assume anyone's orientation. People assume mine all the time...my friend Alex called me the straightest lesbian he's ever met. I don't know you so I didn't wanna make assumptions  sorry I only put down the people I was sure about cause I've talked to them off of the board or Jen who had said it earlier.
