You want to learn some good lines from a fast guy?  Ride on the back of his bike.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Well I believe the consenus is "No, it's not ok." at least among the more "image conscious" members.

For me, no I'm not comfortable with it. Mostly cause I don't know many guys who ride responsibly enough for me to want to be back there. (Same feeling about my friends with their cages.

Guy on back of girls' bike "No, not ok." Seems to be a power issue for most.

Me? I don't give a shaZam! really. If I rode a bike for other people I'd be on a Busa, Gixxer on ZX-14 as my first bike and chromed it. (Then I would be a squid.)

My first ride was on the back of a guy's bike and I was scared the whole time. Last summer I spent on the back of a girl's bike, learning not to be so afraid of bikes. Now I put my knee down whenever given the chance.
Rich, RIP.

I think it's ok if the boy on the bike is like 8 years old...and the driver's son.  Other than that...I'll be honest...I laugh whenever I see it.  :icon_lol:

I ride on the back of my dads bike, thundercat and on his BMW.

I personally don't have a problem giving a guy a lift on the back of my bike, obviously not the whole holding around the waist kinda thing but my gf is welcome to do that :). But no i don't mind. I wouldn't do it regularly i would just do it so they could have an experience of been on a motorcycle, i wouldn't commute a collegue or something to work on my bike whether they were male of female.

I also don't have a problem going on the back of a bike if a girl is driving. So basically im not fussed, 2up with a guy isn't any different from 2up with a girl or two girls riding. I can't see it as a problem.

Except if your getting the good vibrations from another thread i won't mention    you really would look bad getting off the bike then with your mates  :icon_lol:

Ive taking everyone for rides on my bike from my lil 5 year old brother to my grandma. The only reason ive ever taken a guy on the back of my bike is because i was the only one who could drive and i sold my car (i still mis her) for my gs.

I'm trying to work that with my wife...  I'm hoping that if I ride her around enough she'll want her own bike.  :thumb:

As the resident homophobe...I have to say...

NO NO NO   :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:

IN emergencies it is ok but you must maintain the vital 12 inches from the drivers rear at all times.

The only time I've ridden behind a dude was when I was teaching my 14yr old nephew to ride.  I maintained the vital 12 inch distance.

I don't think its about being sexually secure.  It just is what it is. Men don't do that. It is not a knock against ghey men, IMO.  ghey men can have at it. They ARE ghey.  Straight men just shouldn't and usually don't.

It's also a cultural thing. Some cultures are OK with it.  Mine ain't.
Not the brightest crayon in the box, but I can still be seen from a distance.  ;P

If both are geared up and not squidding it, everybody should be on a bike.

Given the chicks I see on the backs of a lot of the harley's around here, I'm not sure there shouldn't even be some heterosexual restrictions.
