Pilots seized?

As part of my ongoing carb adventures I pulled them back off the bike to do a more informed inspection. Found out I have 125 pilots, needles that aren't stock and look worn/have some surface imperfections, and I can't get the pilots out.

I'm tempted to drop in some anti-sieze stuff, but I'm afraid to damage the brass pilot jet and the carb. Maybe I need an L-shaped scredriver to get some leverage, but I don't want to strip it.  Thoughts?

Also, should I buy new needles? I don't know what the current ones are, and they are a bit, i dunno, corroded? Not shiny in several areas, but not gummy residue that I could clean off.

I may try to sync the carbs, but I have no idea how. perhaps thats a good one for a shop.  Also, anybody know the part number for the needle and circlip?

You have 125 pilots ... and you saw that while not being able to get it out ...
Never mind I am being an ass ... but you have 125 mains and your pilots are chewed up ...
I use left handed drills to get it out ... most anything you put in like chemicals will have very little effect ...
Cool.

Try MR Cycles for the part numbers.

I bought several pairs of carbs off ebay to act as experimental rebuilds/cleanups. It was amazing what people did to the carbs with all kinds of crap done to them.

Buy some mineral spirits to soak the parts in. It cleans them up nice. A little canned air to blast out/dry and you are good to go.

To get the plugs out of the adjustments -- I enlarge the hole enough to put the screw extractor into it -- same thing as Srinath's left hand drill item.
