no exhaust is loudest :icon_mrgreen: :thumb:
if you get a race can from say an r1 and mod a link pipe it'll be loud, or you could go the standard road legal route witch are designed for the gs and are of course louder than standard but not too loud, have a look around.
pod filters, costum r6 quill exhaust(no baffles)40/140 jets, heavy duty springs, sv650 rear shock, gsxr srad tail, bandit 600 4.5 inch rim with 150 tyre, gsx twin disc front end "1995 pocket rocket"  ridden by a kiwi in scotland

Ok everybody here is what you do.  Go find a Harley with some kick ass straight pipes and find yourself a cool '80's boombox from the local thrift store.  Then record the sound of the Harley.  Make sure you pick up a bungee net.  Bungee the boombox with the tape of the Harley exhaust to the back of your bike and just make sure you hit play before you take off.

I know I have posted this suggesstion before but it seems to be the perfect  answer for Nick.

Why do you think you have to have the loudest pipe? Is this some sort of complex or something? Do you feel that's the only way you can get noticed, by having a big fart pipe on your bike? Learn to ride. People will notice you for that more than your toot toot exhaust.

Hey nick sense we don't get much performance gains from a slip on just pick one that you like.  Have a shop make the mid pipe for you and your all set.
For looks I like the Micron's they come in just about every color known to man just check out what's out there and what catches your eye.  BTW dont' worry about sound to much you can have the baffles removed from some pipes just ask before you buy.
Pilot 22.5, Mid 65 , Mains 147.5, Mixture screw 3.5 turns out

Even if the voices aren't real they have some good ideas.

Have you seen that video of the guy sitting at a light, revving his loud ass motorcycle when a chick walks buy he mouths something to her.  You can hear what hes saying over the bike, but after she passes, he turns off the bike and says 'i have a small pee pee' which is what he was mouthing as he was revving the bike.  So I guess a louder can means you're trying to make up for your other short comings

lol, I haven't seen it. Now, don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with an exhaust on a bike, but when that is ALL you're concerned about is when it becomes a deficiency issue. I plan on putting one on my bike eventually, but other things are more important.
