You have a FL and a GA license?  You do know that's illegal, right?

As far as I can tell, it's not... Haven't read on either of the licenses, nor on the state DMV websites that it's illegal to hold more than one license at a time. Especially since I specifically stated for my Dupe FL license that I am NOT a Florida resident, the card will just be used for ID purposes. When I went to get my FL license turned into a GA license at the Atlanta DMV, they didn't ask me to surrender my old license, or anything, my stepmom got it for her scrapbook, or some such crap (she lost it.. if she still had it, I wouldn't be going through the hassle I am now)... can you provide something to back that statement up? Not that it bothers me a whole lot.. I'll only be holding the FL license for 2 months until I get the GA license WITH MC endorsement..

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

Ha!  You seem to be right.  You can hold the license, just not as a resident apparently.  Strange....  I'll ask my neighbor to clarify.  FL statutes are getting a bit dry.

This is why I don't post possibly sketchy / questionably legal things on public forums.  There are always people that know too much - read too much - say too much, whatever. Do what you gotta do, and keep on keepin' on.  8)

Good luck on the bike - try and stay out of trouble.
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

Haha.. florida = teh ghey... I was fairly sure that as long as I didn't try to claim residency in both states, I was ok.. but if you come up with anything else I should know, please let me know!

The motorcycle still won't have license plates.  It will be illegal to ride it, no matter who is riding.

I put about 500 miles on my SV with no license plates.  I just carried the bill of sale with me and the assignment of title.  No biggie.

If I would have gotten pulled over, I likely would have only gotten a "improper display" ticket for not having tags on there.  It isn't even a moving violation.

Congrats, nood.
