I just bought tickets to the Laguna Seca MotoGP!
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Awesome!!!

I went last year and I had an absolute blast. My father and I flew out there and camped at Toro Park and bussed in to the track. If you want a good seat, BE SURE TO GET THERE EARLY! I'm talking pre-7am early, especially on Sunday's race. For the 600 Supersport race, I suggest being at the Corkscrew for the first lap (although, that's where I suggest for ALL the races. Awesome turn!) because there is nothing like seeing dozens upon dozens of bikes literaly pour through there. It's so flowing and fast you just need to see it to believe it.

The MotoGP bikes make a sound unlike anything else. They are so gorgeous and powerful and downright amazing. The Ducati has a different firing order from the other 4-cyl bikes, you should be able to pick it out. It sounds nicer, IMO.

Be sure to check out all the company tents and look at all the bikes and specials they have there. Yamaha had one of the GP bikes on displace, as well as Ducati. Yamaha (for its 50th aniversary) had a wonderful selection of classic bikes from their history including the Seca 650 Turbo. Honda showcased their bicycle, as well as a few of their cars and trucks. Lotus even had a tent there for their Elise. Be sure to take tons of pictures, too.
