okay, so, It had been about 4 days since I rode last, mainly cause I was out of town....

On my way back home from work today, as I was coming to the different stop signs/lights leaving the compound....

I noticed my bike has a slight knock, decelarting from 3000rpm to 1500rpm, and no where else, that I can hear with a cursoury inspection.

It has 2600 miles on it, 2 months old, only 100 miles since the last oil change, 10w40 non-synthetic.

The bike was semi-warmed up when it happened... and I didn't notice it in the parking lot.

Okay, now, suggestions? reccomendations?

Hipocracy.... becoming more acceptable with the more power you think you have.

Check your oil level.  Other than that, you should be fine.

Valve adjustment would be the last thing on my mind, with that little of mileage on it.  It's still breaking-in.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?
