First, my friend and I both got into a full MSF course for this weekend, because like 7 of the 12 people signed up bailed on it  . So now I will be getting my license this weekend, instead of riding around without a license like Squidly McNoobCake... ... Kidding, I only did that once, just to get the bike around the block.. and of course, I got pulled over, and the nice occifer explained to me how what I was doing was illegal, etc... Fortunately for me, he'd just bought a Shadow 750 the week before, so he understood the anticipation. We discussed gear, the MSF, etc, for about 10 mins while he ran my VIN, then he told me to take her home, park her, and not ride her again until I get my license. Yay!

2nd bit of good news... I did my fenderectomy tonight.. looks 100x better.. will eventually be getting rid of the fender and going to flush mounts.. but that's after I get some $$ for school.

3rd bit (so I lied in the title).. My friend Lance (who's taking the MSF with me) is going with me tomorrow to look at Paulin8r's bike, and we will probably be taking it home with us... so then I'll have a friend to learn/ride with (NOT be squidly with  ).. how awesome is that?

No tag... so he pulled me over for no tag.. then saw I had no endorsement. Fortunately, I DID have insurance. I'd bought it online about 2 minutes beforehand and printed out my temp ID card.

I am a bit puzzled by the fact that you have 1234 posts and is a noob. What were you positing about then? Food recipies?

Well.. I've been a member here for close to a year. And you don't need to own the bike to read about it, and know about it. I probably know more about jetting/carb/fuel flow/suspension/LED turn signals, etc than most of the people who join and already have their bikes. People post the same 10 freaking noob questions every time they join. I already know the answers. So I hit em with a "search n00b!!" (not really) and show em the links to what they want. I'm pretty good at answering the questions, since I've read em all eleventy billion times.

didn't you get your temp license? I rode for almost 2 months on my temps before taking the MSF - that was the earliest I could get in! I just wasn't allowed to ride by myself at night - that was bascially the only stipulation...

In Florida, if you're under 21, you can't get a temp license. It's f%$king retarded. To get a permit, you have to take the MSF course. Well, obviously, if you pass the MSF course, you get a full fledged endorsement. Stupid f%$king Florida. I hate this state, most of the time. Stupid fucks. Sorry, I'm a bit bitter.

So no way to ride legally until monday, when I get my license. But you better believe that Sunday afternoon, after passing the class, I'll be riding around with my MSF cert under my seat.

Remember, MSF cert without an endorsement = useless.  You're lucky you didn't get a few already. 

yeah yeah blah blah, I know.. that's why I'll only be riding around on the day I get it (we graduate on a sunday).. and then Monday, I'll be going to the DMV to have it turned into a license. Now that I have a tag, and since I won't be riding on any real roads, I doubt I'll be pulled over again.. *knocks on wood*
