I have the days off and I'm planning on riding around somewhere...  Prolly head the long way down to Green Valley Rd or maybe head out to Union Hill Rd

I have no idea what the weather forcast is like, but I'm hoping it'll be nice enough to ride 2-up with the wife.

Anyone else have the day off?

NightRyder

I donno, but I will tomarrow. I will probably go riding around this weekend though. I have no idea where or when, but if someone thinks they want to ride with a noob, do come

Well, it happens that I work this weekend now ..

Maybe I will go after work.. Even though I will probably not want to because I will be all tired.

I checked the 22 and 23, Seems like I have the one of them off... I forgot which though

I think I will start a List-of-things-to-do-this-Summer List.
1) Ride the bike a ton
2) Get a new job. (shhh dont tell anyone)
3) tba

Edit: yea, I have next Friday off. Unless I tear into my bike or something, we should go on that Green Valley Road. That looks sweet from the satelite view; very open and lots of curves.

I'd advise against union hill road.

I work at the top of the hill. Its not a very long stretch of road, its up a very steep hill. Its usually kept in the shade by trees, littered with leaves and usually wet even on sunny days.

Not to mention, cages are always crossing the centerline.

EDIT: I work on union hill & 208th, so not the full length of the road, but right at the top of the nasty part.

You could however avoid it by taking avondale down to novelty hill road, then crossing over on 208th and going the rest of the way on union hill rd. But both ends of novelty and union hill road are very similar, steep hill up/down and very tight/windy with cages often crossing the lines. However the avondale side of novelty is nice, so you can avoid the nasty parts and still have a fairly fun ride I think.

Oh, well then.. that doesn't sound like fun. I guess I'll avoid Union Hill.

On second thougt.. woah, that Green Valley Rd is Waaaaay down there. It's over an hour to get down there. I think I will pass on that too. A little to far for me. Maybe if I was more confident in my skills and the bike, I wouldn't mind a trip south of seattle; but as of now, I havn't riden to seattle yet. Plus it would be friday..

It looks like we might still be recording on Thursday and Friday...  :icon_confused:

If I have Friday off and it's not raining, I'll probably be riding somewhere........

Yeah, Green Valley is pretty far south for you.  Maybe highway 20?

I didn't think it was bad...  At least from where I take it...  (See the map I posted)  It links up with other cool roads. :thumb:

Take it down novelty hill to west snoqualmie valley road to elliot road. That's a very fun route.

Too bad I'm grounded for a week or so (waiting for my new jacket to come in)

Bluebellylint

I can join up with you guys after 3pm if your still going.

Yea, that might work except I donno where that is ;)

Bluebellylint, and anyone else is free to join.. if we end up going. We never seem to get past planning with these things.. During the winter it was skiing, now its riding; either way nothing seems to come of planning. Maybe that's the problem. If a bunch of seattle people hung out in the chat room ( http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=27188.0 ), we could just go on the moment.

I checked my chain today and noticed the little clip that holds the master link in is missing.  :o so I cant go unless someone has a spare.

:o :o  I'm gonna be running around in the morning looking for boots for the wife...  I can see about picking that little bit up if you can give me detail on what it is...

So...  I WILL be riding around tomorrow...  Not 100% on when or where...  I can head north some, but prolly not all the way to HW20...

BBLint...  3:00 you say?  Well, gimme a call...  I think Jake (with the red SV) might be able to cut out of work a little early.

NightRyder...  I'll PM you with my nums...  Call me and see wudup (if'n you wanna head south a bit)...   Play it by ear or somethin'.  Would Snohomish/Monroe area be too far south?  Maybe I can head north...

I dunno...  I'm so friggen tired right now, I don't think I'm making any sense...

syphon

Sunny all weekend... I'm probably gonna go out riding tomorrow. :)

RVertigo

I wish I could...  I might be able to ride tomorrow night...  But, I'm going to be in Port Orchard with the band during the day...

Bluebellylint

Damn I should read the forum more. I just downed three beers :icon_razz: so I cant ride even if you did find a clip for me. but thanx for the offer.
