does your center stand hit the under bracket of the stock exhaust? I suddenly find its hitting the under bracket of my stock exhaust at around 3K it vibrates.

It never did this before (well this is new after teh carb sync and stuff i did with paul on saturday).

I know pablo lost his can because it broke, did it break this way? There is a bracket on the can side and there is a bracket of sorts on the center stand side.. they are touching. I am thinking of mounting  a rubber peice on that can side to make it not vibrate.. would that work?

your centerstand has a protrusion that rests on a metal bracket/stop that is integral to the exhaust pipe. I cracked my exhaust pipe where muffler meets pipe by slamming my centerstand on tight turn (remember, I have a different exhaust hanger that is more flexible too).

Your exhaust should have a rubber peice that the centerstand hits on. Since you've replaced your shock it may be possible that your centerstand is actually hitting your shock linkage before it hits the exhaust stop/bracket. It did that with my gsxr shock but John's got the same as yours without a problem. Are you sure of what is touching?

yes I am sure.. I put my finger on it and it stops, it vibrates at 3K..
I will go buy a one sided foam tape and stick it in its place.. should hold.

Careful, the pipe gets hot and could burn/melt your pad.

Just writing to confirm that the stock exhaust should have a rubber plug at the end of that metal bracket (where it touches the centerstand).  The plug is about the size of 5 pennies stacked-together, and attaches to the muffler pipe by keying through a small hole in the exhaust's metal bracket.

If you're missing the rubber pad, then you could make your own.  If you drill-up that bracket a bit, like swiss cheese, it should stay cooler, and you could use old tire rubber or something.  Or you could just use some hi-temp form-a-gasket, which should be able to take lots of heat, and would probably absorb vibration too.

Manjul,  I can order you the stock one for cheap if you want one.  Let me know.  I am placing an order for the Suzuki emblems (side of engine) and a few other things tomorrow.

Let me know ASAP.
