whats that??
Instead of having to turn the throttle like half-way around the bars to get to full open throttle, you only have to turn 1/5 to get to full throttle...  You get quicker response that way

Well actualy from 1/4 turn, to 1/5 turn. People say it is realy noticable. I think it was discussed before or maybe even in the FAQ section.

I don't think our GS's are equiped with a 1/4 throttle...  There are kits for us to convert to 1/4  (ok...  maybe not realy kits, but DIY mods that you need parts from 10 different bikes.)

What all goes into that 1/5 throttle? Isn't that basically a stock 01+ throttle?

It's a 1/5 turn throttle for the SV650 slapped onto the GS.

Rear wheel hugger?

Reflectorecotomy? (Puts the reflector flush against the plastic)

Custom ground Cam? (Possible, but expensive...)

If you're feeling very (multiply that very by about 12) ambitious, shaft drive (hahah yeah right!)

Makenize's new high-mount that I'm drooling over? (I know you've already got an exhaust, but that dual high-mount is so awesome.)

Turn signals?

GPS?

Bigger brakes? (those twin discs sound slightly BEYOND AWESOME)

Gear indicator? (I have to say that would be kinda cool)

If you are feeling really nuts you could try to devise some weird ram air intake system. (Actually that wouldn't be as bad as trying to go shaft drive, LOLOLOL)

Bike neon? (I can't say I would.)

Another one that would be wild, but very very very awesome would be to mill the block to get higher compression. Even a half point could mean really huge power gains. (This would be complicated, I've done it on cars before, but never an air cooled engine.) We're talking 15% or maybe even 25% more power than you make now.
Rich, RIP.

heres some pics

i think the front end will be my next mod, i dont know what sort of hugger i can get, i had one on it but its to skinny for the new fat back wheel :icon_mrgreen:
