Ok, Here is the deal.  I have and oil leak on the upper left side of my engine.  It looks like it is coming from just forward of carbs, possibly the cam tensioner.  Also another light leak in the front of the engine, if you look between the the exhaust pipes you can see where a small oil leak is starting to accumilate and hold dirt.      I dont think its anything major, Im just getting tired of have to degrease the lower left side of my engine  , every week or so.  my baby has about 13,000 mile on it.  Should i be thinking about doing a head gasket.  or should i pull the tensioner and then retorque it.

already loosened and retorqed head bolts.

I will try to post a picture later tonight.

 Thanks for the help.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I tightened down the valve cover gasket.  But I dont think that was it, took it our for a ride last night when I got back.  There was a light coating of oil coming down the left side of the lower engine case.  Right where the forward sprocket cover meets the engine.  I looked at it with a light in the garage, and it looks like it is coming from the lower part of the tensioner.   any ideas????
