I read a couple posts that say they're compatible...that the header just has to spread a little bit to fit the EX.  Looking for confirmation.  This will let me market to crowds.

To do what I want I need to source a GS...there's a guy in town that rides a GSF that I'd really like to use...but he's not interested.  Even offered to pay him.  This is why I've got my truck listed in the FS section to trade off for a GS

could you use a stock exhaust instead of the full bike?  I'm sure one of the guys that have bought the Jardine would be happy to part with their stock.

Brian's got me a stocker coming...and making an exhaust that would be a direct replacement for the stocker would be pretty easy.  Peoople here want high mounts and stuff, though.

The dual exhaust I heard you're designing...  Is it gonna be two on one side, or one on each side?

One on each.  Two on one side isn't pillion-peg friendly.

Hmm. Well, why don't you try to fit a set of the headers on your EX after you're done making it, hmm?

I'll see if I can find someone with an EX500 I could borrow, but not likely. I'll try though.

I've already built a set of headers for the EX...I may send them your way to let you see how well they squeaze on...and if there's room on the GS for an underbody exhaust.  There'll be pics in about 20 minutes...just finnished the set.
