Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

Rossi finished 8th.
Pretty good considering he tore up his right wrist in a practice crash and started at the back of the pack.

I missed this race!  I was pissed!

So where did  Hopkins finish?  I guess I need to go to the website and check it out.  What about Jr.(Kenny Roberts, Jr.)?

I've answered my own questions.  Jr. finished fifth.  Hopkins finished sixth.  They both have to be very pleased.  And in dry conditions nonetheless. 
That's respectable, isn't it.

I guess the KR211V is sorted out.

And good to see Suzuki finally got their bike a little close.  Too bad they have to start over with a new motor next year.  Maybe the experience they have with the Gixxer 750 will speed up their development of the 800. 

I'm pretty happy for both of them.  The Americans had a strong showing.  Now if they can show up storn for the USGP, Nicky might be cooking.
