0-500 miles?  ultra noobie rider?
500-2000 miles? noobie rider?
2000+ miles? still kinda noobie rider?

give me a the range in your opinion folks.. at what point do the miles add up to a point where you can be confident of your skills without being a cocky noob rider?

12 months steady experience, and 15 hours on a track...or you have to sexually please a superior rider.

Well...  If being a noob means that you haven't dumped yet, then I'm planning on being one F-O-R-E-V-E-R!!!

I've been riding for 2+ yrs and 15k and I'm still getting to be a better rider with every mile you gain experience.

I'd say your a noob until you've done a few things: 1. a road trip beyond state lines 2. taken it to redline in gear 1-4 at a min. 3. ridden atleast 2.5k 4. ridden through a nasty thunderstorm 5. had a close call or put some sort or dent/scratch on yur pritty lil bike

Had many close calls, but luckily no dent/scratch

just being curious how many threads are there like this one, i know i remember at least one or two.

I wouldnt get noob confused with squid. squids are people who just ride irresponsibly. I think everyone here will always be a noob to some degree, because riding always throws some sort of curveball at you; especially when you're not paying attention. you want to focus more on not being such a squid
