OK, i'm bidding on a wheel on Ebay and I noticed something, no rotor, sprocket or cush drive. I am assuming that all these will swap over from my stock wheel? Or should I be prepared to hunt these thing down if I win the auction? Thanks for the replies!

check the "how-to"! You DO need some of these parts from gsxr.

need the rotor and center spacer and prob want the balance weight things on the cush drive side cause dunno if those will swap. you use the bearings and cush drive from the GS.

might see if you can find a rear rotor on ebay otherwise new ones wont be cheap!

or check the classifieds at www.gixxer.com (for rotor or whole wheel)

Sorry for the stupidity on my part.    I have the "how to" printed out on my desk and just read that the Gixxer rotor is five bolt not four like the GS. What about the sprocket? I believe the wheel still has the bearings and spacer inside. Pablo- I already tried Gixxer.com for the stuff, no luck. Thanks for the suggestion though.  :thumb:  Last but not least, maybe I missed it, do you have to remove the chain guard? It looks like a wider wheel would rub on that thing as I sit here staring at the back end of my GS. Thanks again you guys!

never thought about the chainguard  and I doubt Ken has one mounted. If it does rub you can simply install a spacer/washer(s) between the chainguard and the mounting tab to move it out a bit. You shouldn't need to move it out much.

chainguard is still on my bike.....no rub
so is the complete rear fender
no interference on either side with a 150

the only parts from a GSXR needed.......
wheel
center spacer between the bearings
rotor
that is all
everything else is GS500E
