I took a short ride today before it was suppossed to storm.  I decided to go back to my old stomping grounds.  Here's what I got.......

Sign at the main entry

Another historical sign at the main entry

The ghey fountain they spent like 250K on....

The seal.....

My old dorm

Statue of St.  Francis (notice the yellow caution tape?)

Allison Mansion.  The Allison transmissions dudes old mansion.  The nuns bought it when they moved the college to Indianapolis.

Wheeler-Van Camp-Stokely Mansion.  Wheeler was a track guy.  Van Camp-Stokley was the pork and beans/veggie dude.  This mansion is haunted.  Wheeler offed himself in the room on the top left.

More Stokley Mansion... the long thing on the left is a covered dog walk.  You can still hear the dogs chains at midnight.

More Stokley

My sister went to school there in the late '50s. I'd never gone back since(no real reason too). Some of those pics look vaguely familier. Thanx for the memory jog. I'd forogotten all about the trips up there (pre-Interstate system) when I was a pup. Thanx for the post :thumb:
It's not how fast you go, rather "how" you go fast!

Cool pics AJ. But I thought you were going to put fur on your bike?  :dunno_white: :icon_razz:
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.
