I rode my 05' from seattle to chelan yesterday(a 200 mile ride). Everything was working perfectly, no problems at all. After I got to chelan, and parked it in the condo's parking lot, I went to say hi to everyone around the condo's. About three hours later when I went to go start it up I got nothing. All the lights light up correctly, but after pulling the clutch in and hitting the ignition button, It wouldnt turn over, or even click. I have never run across this kind of problem before and thus I am asking for your help. That and being stuck 200 miles away from home is not my idea of fun.

When you took your key out did you leave it in park. Park feels just like off and it is right nexts to it but it leaves you running lights on. It happen to me before. Killed my battery enough where it did notwant to turn over. O0

also it wont start if you are in gear and your side stand is down, have you tryed bump starting it yet? put it in second (ignition on) push it along then dump the clutch,
i would say it'll be one of the saftey switches, either clutch or side stand, you might have to bypass them. by joining those wires together.
try those things and let us know

See, thats the first thing i thought of too. So we grabbed the tahoe, the jumpers and hooked it up. Still nothing. No clicking, no turning over, just pure silence. I have next to no tools with me so if you could tell me exactly where i can grab either of those safety switches that would be awsome. thanks

Yeah i would check the centerstand and the sidestand interlock. If the bike is not turning over at all. :thumb: :thumb:

Maybe some neighborhood kid flipped the Kill Engine switch while you weren't looking?

Otherwise, I'm with the others: Kickstand all the way up, clutch in.

If that doesn't work, check the clutch switch wires.  Maybe the aforementioned neighborhood kid pulled on 'em?
