Hey guys. I just posted my 5000 mile mark yesterday. Well, today I'm in Hinesville, GA....anyways, I offloaded the bike from my brothers truck and riding to my mom's house, I was going around several 90 degree turns...and I was going just a little too quick I guess...cause the road went from pavement to large rock gravel. The turn I was supposed to take was to the left and I just hit the gravel going too quick to slow down safely or steer safely. So long story short, the front brakes locked right before I hit the ditch, highsided and tossed me over onto the gravel while the bike went into the ditch. Smushed the front right hand side of the fender, tore off the right blinker, dented the muffler, scooped alot of gravel, and I dont know whether the front forks twisted or the handlebar is bent, but when I pulled away it was noticeable that my right hand is closer to me than my left. Anyways, the gravel tore up my left arm, my right hand was punctured by something, and the left side of my body was rashed. Both of my shoes flew off and my helmet was slightly scratched on the face. So I'm pretty sure I landed on my left side and my legs flew over my head. If I hadn't have been wearing a helmet my face would have been pretty screwed up on the gravel. Pictures to come soon.

Sorry to hear about the bike, but I am glad that you could walk away. Most of us have been there were our pride hurts more than we do.
Being naked was great, but now that I'm older I thought I should cover up!!!!

Mods?  What mods, no really its stock!!

Weaksauce.

That sucks. I turn around and find another way whenever I see dirt on the road. (Cause I am a wuss)

Well hope your (and your pride) heal quickly, and your bike repairs go smoothly and inexpensively.
Rich, RIP.
