Does anyone on here have a carfax account active right now and wouldn't mind running this vin... JS1GM51A8S2101540. It says there are 3 records and i just want to make sure it's nothing serious. I'm sure it's just like tuneups or somthing done at a dealership. I checked out the bike and put a deposit on it. I will be picking it up in afew weeks. I'd really appreciate the help.

sorry I can't help you... but look at it this way: how much are you paying for the bike compared to the price to use carfax; is it worth it to you if it gives you peace of mind?

I've only used carfax once, and the 'records' are any time the mileage was reported, including state inspections and dealer visits as you said.  Yeah, it could be an accident, but any accident that could cause worry on a motorcycle would have most likely totalled the bike (as in it would have cost more to fix than it's worth), so I'd highly doubt it.   

I've always thought a decent mechanic was far better than carfax.
