Yes.  You don't risk limb, if the bike is relatively harmless.  Just keep others away.

I was going to say (before I saw the vid) that in the case of a stuck throttle, either hang on and enjoy the ride, or clutch, kill and coast, but yeah, that wouldn't really work in this case 

If you notice he manages to poke the kill switch, it's really a rather deft movement on his part.

I think personally that would have been my action in that situation, except with one of those pole thingies nearby.

I thought it was by far the best thing I have ever seen.
