frame sliders

hey has anyone here have any info on them. i know i posted a pic a wile back ago with that gs that had frame sliders on it, but i wanted to know if they worked.

here are the ones im talking about. beacuse ive already droped my bike once ( i hate being short) and i i dont want to get my bike( frame merow and other parts of my bike) scrathed up

no i just wanted to make sure they workd and werent just bling. and were do they get atached?

Well see Alpha's post.  They prob are just bling.  I highly doubt they would actually function well in a crash.  Which brings me back to my first post.

I have found two places that sell frame sliders that are compatible with a GS500F.  One has no details, the other seems to require drilling.

Actually frame sliders do their job quite well. They protect the frame and a few other bits from getting messed up. Find Pablo's crash thread and take a look at the pictures of his bike. It'd have been a lot worse without the frame sliders.

Those are the only ones that are going to work. You are going to have to drill a hole in your fairing though.
