Yes John those shims fit and work fine on the GS. On a side note they are the same diameter but slightly thinner than the shims that I use on my eli's (keihein CVK carbs) carbs.
Thanks for the decals.
Cool.

Do you think I should offer shims for $1 for 2 so people could shim their needles?  Will needle shimming help fatten up the GS in the 5k range like it does with most bikes?

Yes...I have been telling you since before 2000 or somehting right. Shims, or jet kit or anything. With a jet kit there is an actual technology you are selling so it will be more worth it to the people that buy it. But up to you.
Cool.

I knew the answer, i just wanted your "authority" behind it.

No way do i want to sell jet kits.  Big headaches when the rejet goes wrong and believe me thay do.

Shims are safe, not much to screw up and a benefit.  Plus I believe they can be done with the carbs left on the bike.  Right? (please answer this)

Yes carbs on the bike...However to take the brass plugs off the mix screw the carbs have to come off and go under the drill...so its sorta self defeating. In fact the first time you take it off you put 40's in it and take out the plugs and the rest all can be done with carbs on the bike.
