You don't have to put on a seatbelt... you only have to put on a jacket, helmet, pants, gloves, and boots. If I need to go somewhere quickly or somewhere nearby, its definitely the car for me.

Really? Quite the opposite for me. If I'm just running somewhere it's the bike for me. Jeans, sneakers, jacket, helmet, gloves.

make sure to wear your helmet on top of your head like a hat too....LOL...

when you get some road rash.. then i'm sure your mind will change real fast when it comes to safety.. that is unless you don't mind being in the hospital often.

the satisfaction of leaving that phat burnout on his hood is absolutely priceless!
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

good judgement trumps good skills every time.

But, seriously, it's the mentality that you arrive in on a motorcycle, refreshed, revived, happy and with a smile.  Try that with a car.

advantages are for me,
traffic doesn't slow me down, i can leave at any time and it still takes exactly the same amount of time to get where im going no matter what the traffic is like.
you are always at the front of the line at the lights,
everything is more accessible on a bike, so maintance is easier.
chicks love bikes,
guys love bikes.. its more of a talking point (so don't get the wrong idea :icon_mrgreen:)
you can beat pritty much all cars from the lights.
its a lot more fun! :icon_mrgreen:

i always wear my jacket and helmet but most of the time i don't wear my pants,   they are just such a mission to get into,
gloves don't get worn if its seriously hot either but they live in my pocket till its cooler :thumb:

I just feel more relaxed on the bike. In busy traffic I hate being in a car.

Talk to Mak about the free airconditioning.
What is it, about 112F.
Thats a free convection oven.

  Yeah, if it's 112 outside, I think the bike will stay in the garage.  Especially considering I don't have a summer riding jacket yet.  A waterproof Joe Rocket Ballistic jacket with two little vents on the sleeves gets a mite warm.
