Is there something wrong with thier gear? I cant seem to find jackets and things for them over here but they have tons of places in the UK and Germany (where they are from). The USA site has a list of authorized dealers but I called all of them in OH and MI and none carry Gericke stuff anymore!

I have a pair of thier leather tribal pants and like them, and I want to get a matching tribal jacket but kinda want to try one on first!

I saw some gear in a local shop with a different name and a tag that said "Formerly Hein Gericke" or something to that effect. It does seem rather hit and miss on finding it in store however.

I have a Gericke Alien jacket and love it. It withstood a lowside into a guard rail without so much as a scuff (textile jacket obviously).

Yeah they also are FirstGear and do things for Honda and Suzuki etc..

I like my pants and wanted the Tribal Leather Jacket to match and zip together. Just have to find it for a good price, seen it anywhere from $399-$248.

Not sure what to tell you about being able to try the jacket on first...

But, if you do decide on the Gericke, try seeing if some place can order the jacket.  Often a gear dealer can order a discontinued item (provided there's leftover stock), even though they no longer carry it.  About a month ago, my GF was going to get the Tribal leather jacket online... but a couple weeks later when we went to order, they seemed to have disappeared.  I contacted a few places and they said that the jacket had been discontinued in Womens sizes.

But, kneedraggers.com was able to get it for me.  It was, in fact,  discontinued by the manufacturer, so it was on closeout  - instead of being $380, it was $220. Bargain (non-returnable, though).

Give motoemporium.com a try too.  Some really good folks there.

BTW, the jacket is really nice.  Nice leather, good armor, ventilation.

Yep found all the online places with them and $248 isnt bad but I found some on ebay for $175 just waiting to see if he has my size.

I called all those place in MI and all of them in OH and none sell or carry the Gericke gear but could order it. I'd hate to see the prices since they arent on closeout or clearence!
