i'm pretty sure i'm selling my gs500, i've got a friend that is getting rid of some gs100 parts, mostly drag parts, so i think i'm getting rid of my 500, and going for an older (1983) gs1100.
i haven't posted or read many posts for a while, been kinda lurking, but mostly working. i feel like i don't really belong here anymore. this place feels different since i last contributed. maybe it's just me. i dunno, we'll see. if it doesn't sell, i'll fix it up.
all in good time.
The final measure of any rider's skill is the inverse ratio of his preferred Traveling Speed to the number of bad scars on his body. It is that simple: If you ride fast and crash, you are a bad rider. And if you are a bad rider, you should not ride motorcycles.

it is different...i get daily offers for my bike, some of which are topping 2500 which is insane for a 93. I think about it too... :dunno_white: maybe I'm going too

Someone on the board offered an  '03 SV650 to trade for a GS500. I'm seriously considering it.  :dunno_white: Maybe I'm going too.

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?

Dude, I'll keep my GS forever. Maybe just as a track bike, but I'll keep it forever.

Hmm... I love my GS, it's so much fun and I wouldn't trade it for the world... Even though bolts fall off every other day, that just adds to the excitment the GS offers.

Fun fun fun by the ton ton ton...

Dude if my carbs weren't possessed what would I fiddle with at every stoplight?
